Stop The TSA in its Un-Constitutional Invasion of Our Privacy

This website is dedicated to raising awareness and protesting against the insidious nature of TSA's usurpation of our very basic Constitutional rights as found in the 4th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution. If we continue to accept their invasive searches of our private beings without protest or resistance, we are like sheep--placidly being herded by government thugs in the name of collective security. Please bring your ideas, your comments, your anger to this site in that it may provide a practical platform for pro-active resistance.

If you would like to be a blog author on this site, send me an email at minerjp@comcast.net I would like to get a wide variety of opinion and comment on this website.

The Fourth Amendment To The Constitution

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

First Step

Start with the basics. If you believe the naked body scanners and the invasive pat downs by the TSA is a violation of your privacy, then you need to let your Representative and your Senators know of your beliefs. I write my Congressional delegates most every day about this issue, knowing that my lone voice doesn't count for much, but collectively, many voices will be heard and noticed.

Here is a sample of my letters. Respectful but to the point. I urge you to write your own delegates, using your own words or adopting mine to your own situation. Do it today. And tomorrow.

Dear (Sen)(Representative) (                                   )

I am sure you are aware of the controversy surrounding the recent imposition of naked body scanners and intrusive pat downs by TSA personnel. Although I recognize the need to insure the safety of our transportation system, these measures have clearly crossed the line. In my opinion, the measures clearly violate our rights under the Fourth Amendment of Constitution of the United States. As you recall, when you took the oath of office as (Senator, Representative), you swore to defend and protect our Constitution. I am asking you to honor that oath by taking appropriate action to end this assault on our private persons.

Respectfully Submitted,

American Citizen
